As the founders of SAMS Entertainment, they’re rethinking how shows are produced, financed, and brought to life. Combining their backgrounds, they’re building a production company that values transparency, innovation, and true collaboration—creating new theater experiences for all audiences.

    Sam brings unique insight as both a theatrical designer and producer. His experience spans from lighting design for international productions to corporate design services and theater restoration. As Co-President, Sam focuses on creative direction and technical innovation while maintaining strong relationships with the artistic community.

    CO-PRESIDENT & CEO

    Sam Houlihan is a Tony Award-winning producer and theatrical entrepreneur with credits on Broadway, in the United Kingdom, and on international tours. His Broadway projects include Merrily We Roll Along, Our Town, Gutenberg! The Musical!, and Hell’s Kitchen, while his UK work features The Talented Mr. Ripley UK Tour and The Frogs at Southwark Playhouse. With early experience at Lincoln Center, Stone Productions, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Houlihan combines creative vision with deep production expertise. He also serves as Business Manager for SJB Production Services and holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Production & Design from Ithaca College.
