SAM HOULIHAN

Sam Houlihan is a commercial theatre producer working in both the United States and United Kingdom since 2023.

On Broadway, Houlihan’s credits include Schmigadoon! (Co-Producer 2026-present); Merrily We Roll Along (Co-Producer, 2023–2024); Thornton Wilder’s Our Town (Producer, 2024–2025); Gutenberg! The Musical! (Co-Producer, 2023–2024); and Hell’s Kitchen (Co-Producer as a member of Score 3 Partners, 2024–2026). Off-Broadway, his credits include DATA at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (Producer, 2026) and Prince Faggot at Studio Seaview (Co-Producer, 2025).

In the UK, Houlihan’s producing credits include Allegra, which toured the UK before transferring to the Harold Pinter Theatre in the West End starring Dame Maureen Lipman (2026), and the UK premiere of The Jonathan Larson Project at Southwark Playhouse (Producer, 2026). Other credits include The Frogs at Southwark Playhouse (2025), White Rose The Musical at the Marylebone Theatre (2025), The Talented Mr. Ripley international tour (2025–2026), and the 20th-anniversary UK tour of Glorious! (2026). Upcoming is a revival of Little Shop of Horrors at Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre and Liverpool Playhouse (Producer, 2026–2027).

Houlihan serves on the board of directors for Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier, VT. He has been on staff at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in Event Production since 2023, and Business Manager for SJB Production Services since 2024.

Houlihan received a B.F.A. in Theatre Production & Design from Ithaca College. He has since guest lectured at Ithaca College and Connecticut College.
