Sam Houlihan is a Tony Award-winning producer and theatrical entrepreneur whose career spans Broadway, the United Kingdom, and international touring productions. A native of the scenic mountains of Vermont, Houlihan brings a deep passion for storytelling and innovative theatrical experiences to every project he undertakes.

On Broadway, Houlihan’s producing credits include the critically acclaimed revival of Merrily We Roll Along (2023–2024), the beloved revival of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town (2024–2025), Gutenberg! The Musical! (2023–2024), and the ongoing Hell’s Kitchen (2024–present), produced in partnership with Score3 Partners. His work has been recognized for artistic excellence, commercial success, and a commitment to supporting bold, imaginative theatrical voices.

In the United Kingdom, Houlihan has produced notable projects including The Talented Mr. Ripley UK Tour (2025–2026) and The Frogs at Southwark Playhouse (2025), building a reputation for creating engaging and memorable experiences for audiences abroad.

Before stepping into producing, Houlihan developed a broad and versatile foundation in theater and entertainment. His early career included roles as Production Coordinator at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Assistant at Stone Productions supporting Kimberly Akimbo, Topdog/Underdog, and Wicked, Script PA for Kimberly Akimbo, and Assistant Production Manager at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in 2021. These experiences provided him with a comprehensive understanding of production, management, and creative collaboration.

In addition to his work at SAMS Entertainment, Houlihan serves as Business Manager for SJB Production Services, further demonstrating his expertise in both the artistic and operational aspects of theatrical production.

Houlihan holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Production & Design from Ithaca College. His career continues to reflect a commitment to theatrical innovation, audience engagement, and the nurturing of emerging talent.
