OPERATIONS MANAGER
Grace Cutler is a New York City based Director, Assistant/Associate Director, and Producer’s Assistant. From Long Island, NY, Grace recently graduated from Boston College with a degree in Economics and Theatre, as well as a Dance minor. This interdisciplinary education uniquely positions her to understand both the artistic and business aspects of theatrical production, making her particularly valuable in an industry that demands both creative vision and financial acumen.
Assistant and Associate Directing credits include Lucky Us with The Orchard Project (dir Michael Greif), Avalona A Musical Legend (dir Dodd Loomis), Bent with The Barrow Group and OutPlay NY, Machinal with New York Theatre Company (dir Amy Seidel), Our Class and Merchant of Venice with Classic Stage Company (dir. Igor Golyak), August Rush with The Orchard Project (dir. Nick Blaemire), Edge of the World with Classic Stage Company (dir. Nick Blaemire), Thirst with Lyric Stage Company of Boston (dir. Courtney O’Connor), and POTUS with SpeakEasy Stage Company (dir. Paula Plum).
Grace also has experience with the general management operations for openings, daily upkeep, and closings of productions including Romeo + Juliet, Sunset Blvd, Cabaret, Suffs, Some Like It Hot, the Dear Evan Hansen National Tour, Prima Facie, A Doll’s House, and more, with 101 Productions Ltd. She also serves as the Producing Assistant for The Orchard Project, a non-profit dedicated to new musical development and has assisted on projects including Begin Again (dir Lorin Latarro), Lucky Us (dir Michael Greif), and A Mother (dir Maria Mileaf).
Grace is excited to be working as the Operations Assistant for SAMS Entertainment, and has previous producing experience with Concord Theatricals on projects including the Broadway Cast Album recording session of Into The Woods, The Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival, Company, and Hadestown. https://www.gracecutler.com/
